How AI told us delaying our new website was a good idea. 

Redesigning the LOOK Marketing website was high on our internal business priorities last fall. It was time. Our site had functionality issues, it featured dated projects and strategic thinking that was losing relevancy.  After a couple of months researching a wide variety of marketing agencies and other service providers, we had a relatively clear vision of what the LOOK site 3.0 would include and look like. 

Then we got busy after locking in new projects and shifted our focus to developing those client projects over our own. No one understands the importance of marketing your business more than a marketing agency, yet client brands come first. It happens, so we pushed the new website project to the back burner and a year later we’re really happy we did. 

The site we would’ve designed last year would’ve been very different than the new site we just launched. The day-to-day evolution of AI is changing our value proposition. 

Let’s Not Swim in the Sea of Sameness

We looked at the practicum of marketing services LOOK is good at and which of those services that can be replaced by AI, which can be elevated by marketing AI, and which aspects that only a human can deliver. Directly related we know that 85% of website content of any given brand in any given business segment is saying and promising the same thing. And this includes marketing agencies. With AI the digital noise is only going to get noisier as AI copy writing and imagery generation is pulling from the same mainframes. This means more websites (and brands) are going to say more of the same thing.  

Real People, Let’s Talk

This is exactly why we decided to make our new site much simpler and to the point. Much more than we would have a year ago. Our message is, “Just call us. Let’s talk.” Our new website shows who LOOK Marketing is, how long we’ve been helping brands, how we’ll do it, and some examples of what we do well. And while we can help any business with a variety of integrated marketing efforts, we’re focusing our help in areas that only passionate, experienced, and proven humans can.
